Reviews
This is a dine in, RARE BEEF PHO review only...
Firstly atmosphere... which I gave 5 stars. I score atmosphere of a place by the cleanliness, the washrooms, comfort of the sears, ease of access and parking, and decor. This place scores exceptionally high on all those points... especially the comfort of the seats.
Service... as long as I'm greeted quickly, server follows my directions, and brings food out quickly... you get 5 stars and I rate service here 5 stars.
I should also mention I eat a lot of pho all over north America... just saying...
Food... ok... the only part I'd ask they improve on is the amount of rare beef I received. Good parts of this pho include...
1) good bowl size
2) hooked spoons(you'd be surprised how rare hooked spoons are and how necessary they are when eating pho)
3) good amount of white and green onion
4) proper string rice noodles and healthy amount
5) most important... broth. many many places pass off what appears like chicken broth or simple unflavored beef broth as pho broth. FEW things in life disappoint me MORE when I'm hungry, ordering PHO and I get unflavored broth. This broth is not the best I've had in North America but it IS properly spiced and flavored enough to be considered by my experience to be a worthwhile place to drive to and have pho.
6) they served me actual Thai basil. I have tried several places in the north west in my travels and none of them served me thai basil they offered me Cilantro. Cilantro is far far too light a flavor to be usefull in a pho dish. I'm glad this place does it right.
Overall....I can confirm the previous positive reviews for pho here ARE accurate, and I question the negative reviews as my experience was proper.
Food has a nice flavor but the meat has a lot of fat and is hard to chew. Restaurant is clean and staff are very friendly. We ordered beef Pho with brisket and egg rolls.
Great food. Clean place. I had the steamed buns and house pho. The beef tendon was tender, the meatballs were delicious, and the broth was amazing.
We were in Bozeman for just one night and ordered take out from here. Pho chicken noodles and their vegetarian spring rolls, it was amazing. Very flavorful broth. And their chilly oil is no joke. It's SUPER HOT even for someone like me who actually loves hot food. Have to say this is one of the flavorful Pho I had. Way better that what I get in Austin.
I took a take out order there was small mix up with the order but the did correct it. They were really nice and corrected the order when I went back.
Definitely recommend.
Overall the flavor of the P7 pho was incredible. Huge portions of noodles and lots of assorted meats. The broth was intensely rich and delicious. The egg rolls were crispy and flavorful and the spring rolls were super fresh. The reason for 4-stars was the odor of the restaurant itself. Very strong vinegar smell which was pretty intense. The smell actually took away from the experience enough that I wouldn’t return despite the pho being one of the best ones I’ve had.
Close to Bozeman airport. Clean place and fast service. Pho broth was good but missing some herbs such as mint and basil. Only green onions and bean sprouts were given. Good for a fast lunch.
Good location. Busy area, off I90. Open concept. Good staff. Quick service.
Pho was great for a small town restaurant.
I've eaten here three times and still haven't tried the pho because I only want to eat their spring rolls every day for the rest of my life. They are by far the best I've ever tried. The vermicelli dish is great, too! Very refreshing meal for the first really warm day of the year. Love the food and love supporting the hardworking owners 💛
